I have just finished a fun week teaching Feng Shui at the Raffles Institution Singapore.
It was indeed a privilege and an honour to be teaching an enthusiastic and smart bunch of students from a reputable institution in Singapore. It was one week of challenge for me to put together a Feng Shui program, with the objectives of not only linking it to geography, but also sensible and logical enough to withstand the critical minds of these bright youngsters.
I believe that it is important to understand the logic behind Feng Shui and how it should be adaptable in the modern day society. With that in mind, I started off with explaining the basic understanding of how energy or Qi works, the cycle of five elements, and Yin Yang harmony principle.
When it comes to the application, it is important to consider two aspects of auditing:- landform assessment and mapping of the invisible energy forces. The students had fun learning how to do simple Feng Shui analysis using their own bedroom as case studies – including locating the academic sector… Hmm…this should help them locate where their best energy is for studying and preparing for the coming examinations! One thing to note… Feng Shui does not help you pass the exams, it facilitates your learning process so please do not get the wrong idea. One still need to study to pass exams. Get cracking! All the best guys ~
A Feng Shui program is not complete without a field trip. We had fun going out of the classroom to examine the schoolground to create more awareness on their own school’s environment. Lastly, everyone had a half day tour walking around Suntec City and Singapore River to see how Feng Shui principles come to play in a macro and urban level. Had any fun guys? I did.

Hi Anita
Just wondering yor were teaching them San He or San Yuan?
Hi Giggs,

Hi Anita,
Surprised and happy to see you active in Singapore. I had thought that Indonesia would be a better place for prospects, guess you aren’t out for monetary gains. Keep it going.
Hi Giggs, I had enjoyed your indignant reply to Fari in fivearts. net. forum as I would also be frustrated if in the good-will to help, we get a negative response in return. Hope you would not misunderstand what I’ m saying. However, as you know, can’t blame them. Kids are more pampered now. The Young Ones,…Ha-ha, not that we are old. To be frank, I had also benefited from your sharing of Bazi. Keep it up.
Till-then,
Cheers.
Hi leegiat
In fact, I’m still learning from other people’s comments in fivearts forum. I believe there are some genuine shi fu out there. Some of them are my previous classmates in BaZi class.
My interest in Chinese Metaphysics involve.. BaZi, Classical Feng Shui, Xuan Kong, Mian Xiang.. and will be attending Yi Jing class in Nov.. cos I’ve always been wanting to master Mei Hua Yi Shu (Plum Blossom Yi Jing).
Look forward to learn more from fiverarts and masteryacademy forums.
cheers!
Hi Leegiat
Surprised to see you came across my blog!
Yes I am active in Singapore and enjoying every second of it! I believe Feng Shui is one of those things that require a true calling…And when you are happiest at doing something isn’t that when you produce the best result?
I’ve always enjoyed your blog…in fact, you got me started doing blog! I was inspired by yours
Keep it going too!
Hi leegiat
What’s your blog? wish to learn something from u too..
Hi Anita,
The Yi-Jing had recently imposed a curfew on me, ha-ha. End up with too much free time and cannot kay-poh (local slang on being a busy-body) in metaphysics forums. Google and found you here, ha-ha. You are right, it’s when we have no ulterior motives with the right attitude in life, and we would find it much more rewarding and satisfying in our pursuits in metataphysics. Enjoy! Ha, you have made me want to do more posting but unfortunately my quota used up till next month, ha-ha. Thanks for your support; I would highlight it to my beloved Yi-Jing.
Hi Giggs,
Let’s say ‘Share’ which would be more appropriate as I can see that you have a very strong foundations in metaphysics. If you google me, you would find me, same as what I did on your profile. It is good to have the Yi-Jing as our mentor; I believed you are going in the right direction. You would not be disappointed. I assured you.
Till-then, cheerio!!!
